Cost varies depending on your insurance plan. Our team will verify your benefits and let you know what’s covered before your appointment whenever possible.

Your final cost depends on your visit type and your insurance coverage. Well woman visits are often covered 100% by your insurance company. Visana visits to address acute or chronic conditions will vary by the time spent on the visit and/or the complexity of the issues.

When your Visana visit is finished, we submit the information to your insurance company, who processes the claim and determine how much of it they covered. Any remaining amount that the insurance does not cover will be billed to you by Visana.
This usually takes several weeks. Our billing service is powered by Athena Health. They will send a text message and a paper bill in the mail, where you can pay your bill quickly. You can also pay your bill from the link to Athena in the Visana patient portal and pay your bill directly. You will need to pay your bill via Athena; other people cannot pay your bill for you.
You can use a credit card, HSA or FSA card to pay your bill. You can contact us to set up a payment plan if you need to. We don't offer automated recurring payments currently, since each visit may have a different cost.
