Depending on your insurance plan, you might have a copayment, which is a flat dollar amount charged per visit. Or you may have coinsurance applied to the visit, which is a percentage of the price of the full cost of the visit. If your plan is a high deductible plan, you may be responsible for paying the full cost of the visit if your deductible has not yet been met.
