After you complete your labs at Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp, you may receive your results directly from their patient portals. Once Quest or Labcorp sends your results to Visana, here’s what you can expect:
You’ll receive an email and text notification letting you know your results have been received. You can then view them in the Orders and Results area of the MyVisana patient portal.
Please note: you may see your results before your provider has reviewed them.
Once your provider reviews your results and adds any notes or recommendations, you’ll receive another email and text notification prompting you to log in again to see your provider’s comments.
If your results show anything that needs further discussion or follow-up, your provider may send you a message through the portal or recommend scheduling an appointment to review your results in more detail.
Important: For certain sensitive tests — including HIV, BRCA, and other genetic tests — results will only be posted to your MyVisana portal after your provider has reviewed them. In some cases, your provider may call you directly to discuss these results before they appear in your portal.
