How to Share External Test Results with Your Care Team

Upload and send outside lab or imaging results securely through your MyVisana Patient Portal for your provider to review.

If your provider has asked to review previous lab or imaging results, you can easily share them in two ways

In this secure chat, simply select the paper clip to upload your results.


In the Messages area of the MyVisana patient portal.

  1. Select Message your provider and then new message

  2. Select “Lab or Imaging Results.”

  3. Enter a subject and brief message for your provider.

  4. Click “Attach Files or Resources” to upload your results. You can attach up to 10 files in PDF or JPEG format.

Once sent, your provider will review your results and add them to your chart.
