When your provider creates a lab or imaging order, you’ll receive an email and text notification letting you know it’s ready.
We will send your order directly to the facility on your behalf, but bear in mind that on rare occasions, the facility may have issues on their side accessing your orders. That’s why we will always provide you with a copy of your orders in your MyVisana patient portal that you can open or print in order to take them to the facility, in case you need them.
Once you get the tests done, you can view your test results in the Orders and Results area of the MyVisana patient portal.There, you’ll see a list of all lab and imaging tests ordered through Visana.
To view your order, click “View” on the right-hand side and open the order file, the file will open as a PDF that you can view, print, or save.
If your results haven’t been received yet, the status will show as “Sent.”
When your results are ready, you’ll receive another email and text notification. If the results have been received by Visana, the status will show as “Completed.” Click “View” to see your results and any notes or comments your provider has added.
