What If My Provider Reschedules

Understand what happens if your provider runs late or needs to reschedule, and how our Care Team supports you.

Sometimes, providers may experience unexpected delays, technical issues, or emergencies that affect appointment times.

If your telehealth visit has started and your provider hasn’t joined within 5 minutes, please call our clinic at 612-217-4967 to let us know you’re waiting. Your provider may be running behind or experiencing a connection issue — our Care Team will help get you connected as quickly as possible.

If your provider does need to reschedule, we’ll notify you as soon as possible and work to find a new time that fits your schedule. We’ll always do our best to get you rescheduled with your provider — or, if you prefer, help you see another Visana provider so your care isn’t delayed.
