To pay your bill, start by logging into your MyVisana Patient Portal.
In the Upcoming Appointments section, look for the green dollar bill icon labeled “Need to Pay Your Bill?”
At the bottom of that section, click “Pay through AthenaHealth.”
You’ll be directed to the Athena login page.
If you already have an account, click “Log in with athenahealth.”
If you’re new to Athena, click “Create an Account.”
Or you can go directly to the Athena Health portal to create your account.
When creating your account, you’ll be asked to provide your date of birth, email address (use the same one you used to schedule with Visana), and phone number. You’ll then receive a confirmation email to complete your registration. (If you don’t see it after 5 minutes, check your spam or junk folder.)
Once registered, you can log in to the Athena portal. If you have a balance due, it will appear on your home page — you can securely pay your invoice using a credit or debit card.
